Netflix and learn
Do you like to watch TV shows? Yeah, we do too! And did you know that watching an English/American TV show is one of the better ways to improve your language skills? Just turn on Netflix, pick one show and select English subtitles. You can even watch it without subtitles, but it's a “level hard” option. So, we have two Netflix recommendations for you: “Anne with an E” and “Full House”.
“Anne with an E” is based on a book you might know - “Anne of Green Gables”, in Polish “Ania z Zielonego Wzgórza”. It's a very warm and wise story about a girl searching for her place in the world. You can learn a lot from this show, not only about the language, but also about life.
“Full House” is a classic 90's American sitcom about a big family living together in San Francisco. It's very funny and has some hilarious, unusual characters! You can have a laugh and learn at the same time – isn't it great?
